The Centre for Theoretical Physics, Jamia Millia Islamia (CTP, JMI), will host the Indo-South Africa Workshop on Astrophysics on September 29, 2023. The event aims to bring together accomplished researchers in Gravitation and Astrophysics. The research collaboration between South Africa and India is robust and continually expanding, particularly in astrophysics and gravity. It is essential to nurture and fortify this partnership for the future. The workshop will encompass discussions on recent advancements and current developments, as well as the exchange of valuable insights. It aims to provide a platform for young researchers from India and South Africa to engage with leading experts in the field. We designed the agenda to feature a series of comprehensive keynote/Plenary talks, concurrent sessions, and oral presentations.

The primary objective of the workshop is to foster long-term and sustainable collaborations in these areas for years to come.
