Reaching Jamia Millia Islamia

Here are some guidelines on reaching Jamia Millia, once you arrive in Delhi. If you are coming by air or train, take a prepaid taxi to Jamia Millia. Jamia Millia is well known, but nearest landmarks are Holy Family Hospital and Escorts Heart Institute. You will notice the elevated metro railway line, which can be used as a trail leading to the campus.

Jamia campus is also connected via Delhi Metro. The magenta line of the Delhi Metro passes through the campus. The stations Sukhdev Vihar and Jamia Millia Islamia be used to reach the campus. The magenta line directly connects the Jamia Campus to IGI Airport, Terminal 1.

The main gate of the Jamia is the gate number 7, which is next to the metro pillar number 55. If you want to come to the Centre for Theoretical Physics, enter from gate number 7.

Arrive at the main gate of Jamia Millia, and ask the security guards direction to the guest house (called Nehru Guest House). Take your taxi to the guest house, which is located in the same area as the Ansari Auditorium. While coming into the campus from airport, the Jamia main gate will fall on your left, right next to the metro pillar number 55. and the Guest House will fall on your right, further down.
